About this iMac Pro
This device was initially a BTO/CTO device which is nearly identical to MQ2Y2LL/A. However, it became the standard configuration on August 4, 2020 (effectively a price cut toward the end-of-life of this model).
The iMac Pro is exactly what it sounds like. Based on the iMac shape, the iMac Pro is the answer for professionals who need more processing power but enjoy working off the all-in-one device. This iMac Pro features a 5K Retina display and is run by a powerful Intel Xeon W-2150B processor with ten independent processor cores. The base model features 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SDD storage. The graphics behind this model are powered by a Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor with 8 GB of dedicated HBM2 video memory.
This iMac Pro does not have color options like other Apple products and only comes in Space Gray. The all-in-one design features four USB-C 3.0 ports as well as connectivity via Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The only main limitation of this Pro model is how difficult it is to upgrade. It is likely that most users will need to spec their systems out at purchase with future requirements in mind.

The iMac Pro features a 27-inch screen 5120×2880 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS DCI-P3 “Retina 5K” display. The display is able to achieve a brightness of 500 nits

The iMac Pro has the Mac OS X 10.12.4 (16F2073) operating system pre-installed on it. It is powered by 3.0 GHz Intel Xeon W-2150B processor with ten independent processor “cores” on a single chip. Its graphics processor is a Radeon Vega 56 graphics processor with 8 GB of dedicated HBM2 video memory.
Memory & Architecture
The device is built with 32 GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 ECC memory and can be upgraded to 512 GB of RAM at the time of purchase. It’s design is centered on a 64-Bit architecture. This iMac Pro is also able to run Windows 10 (64-Bit).
Upgradability
The iMac Pro comes with 32 GB of RAM; it can be upgraded up to 128 GB of RAM. The Operating System of the iMac can also be upgraded from its pre-installed Mac OS X 10.13.2 (17C2111) with the current version of the macOS — macOS Ventura (macOS 13) — with the exception of the minor Live Captions in FaceTime, Emoji Dictation, and Reference Mode with Sidecar features.
