The Apple Watch Hermes Series 8 was introduced on September 7, 2022. It is only available in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. In addition to its many similar features to its predecessor (Apple Watch Series 7), it also features new temperature sensors, an accelerometer for the crash detection feature, and a powerful gyroscope. The device is in a stainless steel case with a Sapphire crystal cover to protect against scratches. This model comes with custom packaging, model-specific watch faces, and software tweaks. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or later (with iOS16 or later) to use the Internet and perform some additional functions. 

This Apple Watch model has a 1.9-inch Always-On Retina LTPO OLED display with a 45 mm casing size. It features a touch-enabled display with a resolution of 396 x 484 and a display area of 1143 square mm with rounded corners. The display is made of protected Sapphire crystal, and the back side is made of ceramic and Sapphire crystal, which connects to the charger. 

It has 32 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM. This Apple Watch can be controlled through the Digital Crown with haptic feedback. It has a battery life of 18 hours, depending on usage. 

This model is available in two stainless steel housing options: Silver or Space Black, with several band options.
