About this MacBook Pro
The MacBook Pro “Core i9” 2.4 15” is a BTO/CTO device that almost has the same features as MV912LL/A and MVVM2LL/A. However, we have listed this device separately as this base model comes with an upgradable processor for maximum performance.
While this MacBook Pro 2019 is not the redesign of the MacBook Pro 2018, this version is instead its refined model that offers a more powerful MacBook with a 9th Generation, 14 nanometers, Intel Core i9 “Coffee Lake” 2.4 GHz processor (I9-9980HK) with eight independent cores on single silicon plus a 16 GB of onboard 2400 MHz LPDDR4 SDRAM that allows it to handle heavy programs seamlessly.
Apple maintains similar storage options from its previous models, including 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 Tb, and 2 TB, and has dedicated graphic cards just like the 15″ MacBook Pro for future configurations. This version also features 4 USB C ports compared to the only two ports assembled in the previous non-touch bar 13” model.
This MacBook Pro comes installed with macOS Mojave 10.14.5 and can be upgraded to the latest macOS (Ventura). This 15-inch MacBook Pro measures 0.61 in ×13.75 in ×9.48 in weighs of 4.02 lbs (1.83 kg).

This MacBook has 256 512 GB of non-removable PCIe-based flash storage by default. It is upgradeable to 1 TB, 2 TB, or 4 TB during purchase for an additional cost. It also comes with dual graphics processor options.
Screen Size and Resolution
The MacBook Pro 2019 flaunts a high-resolution, LED-backlit 15.4” widescreen with 2880×1800 or 220 ppi, and a brightness rating of 500 nits Retina display that projects bright, sharp, and accurate colors that are a staple Apple feature. In addition, its True Tone and IPS technology do an impressive job in complex rendering and projection.

This MacBook Pro runs in a 14 nm, 9th Generation Coffee Lake 2.4 GHz Intel i9 processor or I9-9880HK equipped with eight independent cores on a powerful, single silicon chip. In addition, it comes with a 16 MB shared level 3 cache and a 16 GB onboard 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM that’s capable of carrying mid-level games, creative programs, and other multimedia purposes.
The MacBook Pro 2019 supports a Turbo Boost 2.0, and that gives this computer the power to increase the speed of the cores it uses automatically. This mechanism is responsible for its improved and enhanced performance maximized by Hyper-Threading, which activates the sixteen cores, eight real and the other half virtual.
