About this MacBook Pro
The 2019 MacBook Pro is a slight improvement from the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro model with a smaller storage option and the option for a lower clocked 13 inch model. The 2019 MacBook Pro is considered to be a mid-cycle refresh to the previous MacBook Pro line-up. It features a 14 nm, 8th Generation “Coffee Lake” 2.3 GHz Intel “Core i9″ processor (I9-9880H) as well as 16 GB of onboard 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM.
Apple has stuck with the same storage options as the previous model (512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB) and has reserved dedicated graphics cards for the 15” MacBook Pro models. While this model also features 4 USB C ports similar to MVVM2LL/A specs as opposed to the 2 ports featured on the previous non-touch bar 13″ model.
This MacBook Pro comes installed with macOS Mojave 10.14.5 and can be upgraded to the latest macOS (Ventura). This 15-inch MacBook Pro measures 0.61 in ×13.75 in ×9.48 in weighs of 4.02 lbs (1.83 kg).

The storage included is a 512 GB of non-removable PCIe-based flash storage. This can be upgraded to 1 TB or 2 TB at the time of purchase.
Screen Size and Resolution
A 15.4″ Widescreen Retina display high resolution (2880×1800) LED-backlit widescreen is the default for the screen type and resolution in this model.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
This MacBook Pro comes with MacOS X 10.14.5 (18F132) and runs on a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i9 (I9-9880H) processor with up to 4.8 GHz of Turbo Boost supported and a Radeon Pro 560X graphics processor with 4 GB of GDDR5 SDRAM. The system also has an Intel UHD Graphics 630 graphics processor that shares the system memory.
Memory & Architecture
This MacBook Pro features a 6 MB shared level 3 cache with 16 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM for its RAM. This can be upgraded to 32 GB at the time of purchase.
Battery Life
The MacBook Pro comes with an 83.6 watt-hour lithium polymer battery that provides 10 hours of wireless web or iTunes Movie use. As applications and Mac OS becomes more efficient, so do the devices it runs on.
Upgradability
Similar to MV902LL/A this MacBook Pro can be upgraded from 16 GB RAM to up to 32 GB RAM on a purchase but cannot be upgraded after that. If you are looking to run Windows, the system can run Windows 10 (64-Bit) and does it quite efficiently due to updated bios and drivers. This MacBook Pro’s dimensions are 0.61 in ×13.75 in ×9.48 in and a weight of 4.02 lbs (1.83 kg).
