About This MacBook Pro
The 2020 Macbook Pro 13-inch is Apple’s latest refresh of the 13-inch Macbook Pro line-up. This follows the introduction of the new 10th-generation Intel processors which are only available on the 2020 MacBook Pro models. This device comes with an Intel Core i7 running at a clock speed of 2.3 GHz. This can be boosted up to 4.1 GHz during process-heavy usage.
In addition to the new processors, Apple also expanded the storage options for this device, allowing users to choose up to 4 TB of storage at the time of purchase. The 13-inch variants of the MacBook Pro do not feature a dedicated graphics card but are equipped with an integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 which shares memory with the system.
As expected, the new 13-inch line-up also includes the revised Apple scissor keyboard design which improves on issues seen with the previous models. The new scissor design has been brought down from the 16-inch MacBook Pro line-up launched in 2019. Overall this is a very good option for anyone looking to use their MacBook Pro for web browsing, admin work, and light processing tasks. Someone looking for a more powerful device than this should definitely check out the MacBook Pro MYDA2LL/A which comes with apple’s own powerful 8-Core M1 processor.
This MacBook Pro comes installed with macOS Catalina 10.15.4 and can be upgraded to the latest macOS (Ventura). This 13-inch MacBook Pro also measures 0.61 in ×11.97 in ×8.36 in and weighs 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg).
