It has 8 GB of onboard MHz DDR3L SDRAM and 256 GB flash storage. This built has earned the MacBook Pro late 2013 specs the label “the gold standard” for high-end notebooks in its time of release.
This MacBook Pro is considered a powerhouse replacement for desktop with its 15-inch Retina display. By default, this MacBook Pro has a blazing fast 256 GB flash storage. It is a vast improvement in terms of speed (only 196 MBps) compared to its predecessor. Since this update flash storage is faster, it is still used up to this day in different units. Apple does not recommend updating this, but it is somehow possible after the purchase.
Similar to ME294LL A, This MacBook Pro has a vibrant screen. Its 15.4” color widescreen LED-backlit display is powered by IPS technology with a 2880×1800 native resolution at 220 ppi (178-degree viewing angle). Its panel measures 324 on the light meter, which is incredibly impressive during its release. It results in smoother viewing with strong backlighting and broad viewing angles. On top of all these, the unit comes with a 720p FaceTime HD webcam.
This generation of MacBook Pro includes a major change in graphics. While the previous models enjoyed the NVIDIA discrete graphics, this utilized a standalone GPU with high specifications. MacBook Pro has a pre-installed MacOS X 10.9 (13A3017), 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 4960HQ processor, and dual graphics processors – an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory and an integrated Intel Iris 5200 Pro graphics processor with 128 MB of “Crystalwell” embedded DRAM (and shared system memory).
This Pro supports dual displays that could reach 2560 x 1600 pixels. This feature is functional for creative pros out there.
The applications installed in this MacBook Pro are guaranteed to run faster because of its 256k level 2 cache and a 6 MB Level 3 cache plus 8 GB of onboard 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM RAM. This circles around a 64-Bit architecture.
MacBook Pro Core i7 15-Inch Late 2013 has a 95-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery that gives 8 hours of wireless web use. End users might not be able to upgrade this after purchase.
The operating system of this MacBook Pro is upgradeable. Its default and pre-installed MacOS X 10.9 may be altered to the current macOS X. Moreover, it also supports Windows OS 7 and accommodates an operating system that is as high as Windows 10. You can also modify its memory to a maximum of 16 GB after the initial purchase.
