This device is a BTO/CTO device which is nearly identical to MLH12LL/A. We have listed this device separately as it has been configured with an upgraded processor when compared to the base model. This has been done to make it easier to catalog as well as easier to read.
Introducing the latest and greatest models of the a1708 MacBook Pro lineup, these are released in Late 2016 and continue till 2017 with a minor revamp. The powerhouse behind this Apple MacBook Pro 13 late 2016 device is a Core i5, 6TH Generation “Skylake” 3.1 GHz processor which featured both an integrated graphics card as well as the opportunity for a dedicated card. A Butterfly Mechanism keyboard is incorporated into the MacBook Pro to allow users to have a comfortable experience while typing.
This is an improvement from previous designs and provides a signature feel to all Apple devices. This model is only offered in two colors, either silver or space gray. There are no USB ports provided on this device with only 2 Thunderbolt “3” ports provided with the intention for Apple to lead the adoption of USB C-type devices.

The storage included is a 256 GB, 512 GB of removable PCIe-based flash storage. Flash storage is widely known as an industry leading storage technology and Apple are at the forefront of this.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina display has a high resolution (2560×1600) LED-backlit widescreen which is the default for the screen type and resolution in this model.

This Apple MacBook Pro 2016 features a 256k level 2 cache and a 4 MB Level 3 cache plus a 4 GT/s frontside bus with 8 GB of 2133 MHz MHz LDDR3 SDRAM for its RAM, all this is centered around a 64-Bit architecture. 32-Bit architecture has been and will continue to be dropped due to the limitations it provides.
Battery Life
The MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch comes with a 49.2 watt-hour lithium polymer battery that provides 10 hours of wireless web or iTunes Movie use. As applications and Mac OS becomes more efficient, so does the devices it runs on.
Upgradability
This MacBook Pro can be upgraded from 8 GB RAM to up to 16 GB RAM on purchase but cannot be upgraded after that. The operating system of the MacBook Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.12.1 (16B2657). If you are looking to run Windows, the system can run Windows 10 (64-Bit) and does it quite efficiently due to updated bios and drivers. This MacBook Pro comes with dimensions of 0.59 in ×11.97 in ×8.36 in and a weight of 3.02 lbs (1.37 kg) – becoming the lightest in MacBook Series so far.
