About This Mac

The Apple Mac Mini Core i5 comes with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 for its graphics support. It also comes without a an internal optical drive but there are external options available. A Thunderbolt port is also included along with HDMI ports, FireWire, USB 2.0 and others. It comes with a lot of connectivity options that make it a good device to work with especially with its customizable nature.

Storage

The device is shipped with a 500.0 GB Serial ATA (6Gb/s) hard drive for storage with a storage speed of 5400 RPM. The main surprising fact is that the previous server model was shipped with the same storage capacity but at a faster rpm, thus allowing for faster read and write speeds. 

 

 

Screen Size and Resolution

The Mac Mini supports dual display with resolution support of 1920×1200 and also has a 2nd display support of 2560×1600.

The Mac Mini has Mac OS X 10.8.1 (12B2080) pre-installed on it and is powered by a 2.5 GHz Core i5 (I5-3210M) processor. The graphics processor is an Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 512 MB of memory shared with the system. During this period, other manufacturers have opted for dedicated graphics cards in order to improve gaming and graphics capability, however, Apple chose to better their software and keep with integrated graphics.
