The a1428 iPhone 5 featured the same overall unibody case as the iPhone 4 but with several improvements to its processing power and functionality. It was powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core Apple A6 processor with 1 GB of RAM. The device could be configured with 16, 32, or 64 GB of flash storage. The iPhone 5 featured a USB 2.0-based lightning port as well as a headphone jack. It supported 4G/LTE connectivity which was the fastest mobile communication standard at the time.
