About this iMac
On April 20, 2021, Apple released the iMac 24-Inch M1 model. This MJV93LL/A iMac model is entirely different from its predecessors. This 2021 iMac features a completely new design with different internal architecture. Unlike its predecessors, this iMac model does not support significant internal upgrades.
Apple added the M1 processor in this iMac that harnesses the high performance of this model. It includes a total of 8 hybrid cores for increased productivity and overall execution speed. This model features a 16-core Neural Engine as well as a 7-core graphics processor which makes it significantly faster than the 2020 iMac models. The RAM of this device is 8 GB.
The default standard memory is 256 GB SSD. The display size of this iMac model is 23.5-Inch. It is a 4.5K Retina display with a 4480 x 2520 resolution. Additional features include an integrated 1080p FaceTime HD camera for high-quality video calls, a studio-quality three-mic array to record noise-free voice, and a high-fidelity six-speaker system with Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos feature.
The connectivity for this iMac includes 2 Thunderbolt (USB 4 ports), a 3.5 mm headphone jack mounted on the left side of the iMac, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (backward compatible), standard Bluetooth 5.0, and Gigabit Ethernet. This latest iMac model is available in three two-tone color choices: blue, green, and pink. It is also offered in classic silver color.
This iMac model initially shipped with a wireless Magic Keyboard without Touch ID. It is small in size and is made of aluminum. The box has a numeric keypad and a wireless Magic Mouse with support for a multi-touch surface. However, the default mouse and keyboard could be upgraded to Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard with Touch ID.
The RAM can be upgraded to 16 GB of this model at the time of purchase. The internal storage is also upgradeable to either 512 GB or 1 TB SSD from the standard 256 GB. This iMac model’s operating system is fully compatible with the latest macOS version and originally came with macOS 11.3. The keyboard and mouse can also be upgraded for extra charges

Screen Size and Resolution
Apple introduced a 23.5-Inch widescreen Retina 4.5K display in this iMac model for a more natural viewing experience. The LED-backlit and TFT active matrix features are included in this model. It delivers 4480 x 2520 pixel resolution at 218 ppi and 500 nits brightness. The display of this model supports 1 billion colors, True Tone technology, and P3 wide color gamut. It also has an anti-reflective coating for eye comfort.
OS & Processor
According to Apple, this is the first iMac series to feature a 5 nm 64-bit M1 processor. This latest processor has 8 cores with 4 performance and 4 efficiency cores with a clock speed of 3.2 GHz. This model also features a 7-core GPU that is ideal for creative professionals. It also has a 16-core Neural Engine for faster machine learning processes. This iMac features a pre-installed macOS 11.3 (20E232)
