The storage included is a 256 GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSD of non-removable PCIe-based flash storage. Flash storage is widely known as an industry leading storage technology and Apple are at the forefront of this.
A 15.4″ Retina display high resolution (2880×1800) LED-backlit widescreen is the default for the screen type and resolution in this model.
This MacBook Pro comes with MacOS X 10.12.1 (16B2659) and runs on a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i76920HQ (Skylake) processor with up to 3.8 GHz of Turbo Boost supported and a Radeon Pro 450 or 455 graphics processor that shares 2 GB of memory with the system.
This MacBook Pro features a 256k level 2 cache and a 8 MB Level 3 cache plus a 8 GT/s frontside bus with 16 GB of 2133 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM for its RAM, all this is centered around a 64-Bit architecture. 32-Bit architecture has been and will continue to be dropped due to the limitations it provides.
The MacBook Pro comes with a 76.0 watt-hour lithium polymer battery that provides10 hours of a wireless web or iTunes Movie use. As applications and Mac OS becomes more efficient, so does the devices it runs on.
The operating system of the MacBook Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.12.1 (16B2659). If you are looking to run Windows, the system can run Windows 10 (64-Bit) and does it quite efficiently due to updated bios and drivers. This MacBook Pro comes with dimensions of 0.61 x 13.75 x 9.48 in and a weight of 4.02 lbs (1.83 kg) – becoming the lightest in MacBook Series so far.
