Apple continued the production of the MacBook Pro a1278 in early 2011. They introduced the MacBook Pro MC724LL A with a Core i7 processor with 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3 – 10600) and 500 GB of hard drive space. The MacBook Pro 2011 specs include the Thunderbolt standard port that supports 10 Gbps of bandwidth in both directions and is also used by peripherals to support resolutions as high as 2560×1600 and audio signal.
The MacBook Pro (MC724LL/A) comes with a 500 GB of 6 Gb/s Serial ATA (5400 RPM) hard disk drive with the custom options of 750 GB similar to md311ll a but, available with an additional price.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch screen display has a widescreen TFT active-matrix and a 1280×800 resolution. The screen is also LED-backlit.
This MacBook Pro comes with a pre-installed MacOS X 10.6.6 (10J3210), 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 2620M (Sandy Bridge) processor. It also comes with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processor that shares 384 MB of memory with the system similar to mc721ll/a.
The MacBook Pro Model MC724LL/A has a 63.5-watt-hour lithium polymer battery that provides 7 hours of wireless web use.
The Apple MacBook Pro comes with a 256k level 2 cache and a 4 MB Level 3 cache plus a 5 GT/s front side bus with 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3 – 10600) for its RAM. All of this is centered around a 64-Bit architecture.
