About this Mac
In 2015 Apple released a higher-end configuration of the 1.6GHz i5 model MJVE2LL/A. The built-to-order MacBook Air model MMGG2LL/A, features a fifth-generation “Broadwell ULT” 2.2GHz i7 Intel Processor.
One of the major differences from the previous 2014 model includes an updated Wi-Fi adapter to the 802.11ac standard that is backward compatible with the 802.11a/b/g/n. The battery also received a massive upgrade increasing its life by close to 12 hours. This is almost doubled from the previous generations.
The 13.3” widescreen came with a 1440 x 900 native resolution. The graphics processor used is the Intel HD Graphics 6000 which uses up to 1.5 GB of system memory. The operating system of the MacBook Air can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.10.2 (14C2507) up to current MacOS X. The device can host Windows 7 (64-Bit) and can accommodate operating systems as recent as Windows 10 (64-Bit).
