This device is a BTO/CTO device which is nearly identical to MD711LL/A. We have listed this device separately as it has been configured with an upgraded processor when compared to the base model. This has been done to make it easier to catalog as well as easier to read.
The Apple MacBook Air model, an 11” version, was released midway through 2013. It comes equipped with a 720p “FaceTime HD” webcam and 4 GB of 1600 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM on the motherboard. The MacBook Air maintained its razor thin design and further reduced weight from the previous versions to 2.3 pounds. This device is thin, compact, and is packed with great features. This MacBook Air comes with either 128 or 256 GB SSD of flash storage. There are also configurations that can be equipped with 512 GB of storage.
Screen Size and Resolution
This MacBook Air sub-notebook has an 11” widescreen TFT LED-backlit active-matrix glossy display and a 1366 x 768 native resolution. The resolution is high enough to give clear quality images with pixels being barely visible when up close.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
This MacBook Air comes with a pre-installed MacOS X 10.8.4 (12E3067) and runs on a 1.7 GHz Intel Core i7 (I7-4650U) processor. It also has an Intel HD Graphics 5000 graphics processor that shares 1.5 GB of memory with the system.
Memory & Architecture
The MacBook Air is equipped with a 32k/32k x2 Level 1 Cache and 256k x2, 4 MB (on chip) Level 2/Level 3 cache. The device runs 4 GB of 1600 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM on board which can be upgraded to 8 GB at the time of purchase.

The MacBook Air comes with a 38-watt-hour lithium polymer battery that can provide up to 9 hours of wireless web use.
Available Upgrades
This MacBook Air has RAM that can be upgraded from 4 GB to 8 GB but only at the time of purchase. The operating system of the MacBook Air can be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.8.4 (12E3067) to MacOS 11 (Big Sur). It can also host Windows 7 (32-Bit) and can accommodate operating systems as recent as Windows 10 (64-Bit). This MacBook Air is 0.11 – 0.68 in x 11.8 in x 7.56 in and weighs 2.38 lbs (1.08 kg). A very light device with the power to run most daily activities. We do not recommend this device if you intend to do heavy graphical or CPU loads.
