The Mac Pro is one of the three desktop versions in the Apple lineup of computers. It is also the most powerful of all the Apple products and also the most expensive. Part of its power rating includes the almost “endless” expansion qualities when compared to other products and computers. It has a tower package, numerous connectivity options, and flexible customization which also makes it a great option. The Apple Mac Pro, the first Intel based tower Mac, features 5 USB Ports, 4 FireWire Ports, 8 RAM slots, and two 2.0 GHz dual core Intel Xeon 5130 processors. Although the Mac Pro comes with 1 GB of RAM, it could be upgraded up to 32 GB of RAM. The operating system of the Mac Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed Mac OS X 10.4.7 (8K1079) up to MacOS X 10.7.5. This Mac Pro is able to host Windows XP SP2 (32-Bit) and more recently Windows 7 (32-Bit). This Mac Pro has dimensions of 511 mm × 206mm × 475 mm and weighs 42.4 lbs (19.2 kg).
