The Mac Pro Eight Core 3.2 GHz is uniquely customized from the previous 2006 model. Its major difference is in the processor with a speed of 3.2 GHz in its two Quad-Core Xeon X5482 processors. It has maintained all the ports that the original launch machine came with including 5 USB 2.0 ports, two FireWire “400” ports, two FireWire “800” ports, and four PCIe expansion slots. The device was built with 320 GB or 500 GB Serial ATA (3 Gb/s) hard drive storage with a storage speed of 7200 RPM.
The Mac Pro has a primary display support for up to 8 displays and a resolution support of 2560 x 1600. It also has a 2nd display support of 1920 x 1200.

The Mac Pro has Mac OS X 10.5.1 (9B2117) pre-installed. This is powered by two 3.2 GHz Quad Core 45-nm Intel Xeon X5482 (Harpertown/Penryn) processors with 12 MB of level 2 cache per processor (each pair of cores shares 6 MB), a 128-bit SSE4 SIMD vector engine, and 1.6 GHz “64-bit dual independent frontside buses”. The graphics processor is an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT with 256 MB of GDDR3 memory and two dual-link DVI ports.
The device has 2 GB of 800 MHz DDR2 EEC “fully-buffered” FB-DIMM memory. The RAM has a heat sink design that is a bit different from generic FB-DIMMs. This is

Although the Mac Pro comes with 2 GB of RAM, it can be upgraded to 64 GB of RAM. The operating system of the Mac Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed Mac OS X 10.5.1 (9B2117) up to MacOS X 10.11.x. This Mac Pro is also able to host Windows XP SP2 (32-Bit) and more recently Windows 7 (64-Bit). This Mac Pro has the dimensions of 511 mm × 206 mm × 475 mm and weighs 42.4 lbs (19.2 kg).
