About this iPhone

The iPhone 12 Pro Model A2406 first appeared in October 2020 as an Apple phone for Japan and Canada. This model is powered by an Apple Bionic A14 processor that operates at 3.0 GHz with 64 bit-words in 6 GB of internal memory. The storage memory can be 128 GB, 256 GB, or the maximum of 512 GB, double the base model of the iPhone 12.

It has a dual SIM, of which one is a nano-SIM-card, and the other SIM is an e-SIM. The “OLED” technology and “Super Retina XDR” are the display’s main features, and it occupies the whole phone’s front side. The diagonal measurement is 6.1 inches. The display resolution is 2532×1170, 460 ppi. This Pro Model has a brightness that has been increased to 800 nits, compared to the iPhone 12’s base model brightness of 625 nits.

The front camera is a “TrueDepth” unit, and at the rear, there are three cameras and all of them have a 12 Megapixel resolution. The aperture of the front camera is f/2.2. It can be used for Face identification and shoot selfies and photos in 6 Portrait modes, such as Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage mono, and High-Key Mono. There are three cameras on the rear, consisting of Wide, telephoto, and Ultrawide (120 degrees) cameras. Next to them, there is a powerful Lidar sensor – scanner whose main role is to perform the exact distance measurements that are then used by 3D scanning, many advanced phone operations, and enhanced Night mode photos. Also, it enables very fast auto-focus.

All iPhone 12 models, including this one, successfully resist being submerged in water up to 6 meters deep for up to 30 minutes, so the ratings of the IP68 standard are satisfied. The phone is also dust and splash resistant. The case colors can be blue (“Pacific”), “Graphite,” silver, or gold.
