The Apple iMac Intel Aluminum released October 16, 2014, had some uniqueness of its own from the other models such as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi which is backward compatible with the 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. This a1419 device had an 8 GB of 1600 MHz PC3-12800 DDR3. The “thick-at-the-middle-thin-at-the edges” design remained the same in this release of the computer just as in the late 2012 version. This computer had all the needs of this generation of computing packed into its 51.6 cm, 65.0 cm, 20.3 cm and featured a lightweight of 21 lbs. (9.54 kg) casing.
