The Apple iMac 3.0GHz i5 MNDY2LL/A Aluminum released in June 2017 had some improvements from the other models, such as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi, which is backward compatible with the 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. The 2017 iMac 3.0GHz had a configuration with 8 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM standard. This computer had all the needs of this generation of computing packed into its 45.0 cm, 52.8 cm, and 17.5 cm and featured a lightweight 12.5 lbs. (5.66 kg) casing.
The 2017 iMacs looked just like the previous generation of iMacs. The 2017 21-inch iMac can upgrade storage and memory, though it’s a difficult process that can damage the machine if not done properly.

The standard 2017 21 inch iMac was built with 1 TB Serial ATA (6 Gb/s) hard drive storage with a disk speed of 5400 RPM. The storage can be upgraded after purchase, but is a very difficult upgrade and requires removal of the display.
