About this iMac
The Apple iMac Intel Aluminum released June 2014 had some uniqueness of its own from the other models such as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi which is backward compatible with the 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. It had a non-upgradeable 8 GB of 1600 MHz PC3-8500 LPDDR3 SDRAM. The “thick-at-the-middle-thin-at-the edges” design remained the same in this release of the computer just as the late 2012 version. This computer had all the needs of this generation of computing packed into its 450mm×528mm×175mm and featured a lightweight of 12.5 lbs (5.68 kg) casing.

The iMac Intel Aluminum version featured a 21.5 inch screen 1920×1080 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS display.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
The iMac had the Mac OS X X 10.9.3 (13D2061) operating system pre-installed on it. It was powered by 22-nm “Haswell” 1.4 GHz Intel “Core i5” processor (4260U) with two independent processor “cores” on a single chip. Its graphics processor was the NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M graphics processor with 512 MB of dedicated GDDR5 memory.
Memory & Architecture
The device was built with a 3 MB on-chip level 3 cache with a frontside bus of 1066 MHz and with 8 GB of 1600 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM. Its design was centered on a 64-Bit architecture.
Upgradability
The iMac came with 8 GB of RAM which cannot be upgraded at all after purchase.
The Operating System of the iMac can also be upgraded from its pre-installed Mac OS X 10.9.3 (13D2061) up to macOS 11. This iMac was also able to run Windows 7 (64-Bit) and more recently Windows 10 (64-Bit).
