Apple revealed the Apple Watch Hermes Series 8 41 mm on September 7, 2022. It is a new addition to the Apple Watch lineup. This model is currently only available in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The new notable features of this Apple Watch include new features such as an improved gyroscope, a temperature sensor for enhanced health monitoring, crash detection for automotive incidents, and a low-power mode for extended battery life. According to Apple, the S8 processor in this device offers 20% more performance than the S5 processor. This model comes with custom packaging, model-specific watch faces, and software tweaks. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or running iOS 16 or later to utilize all its features fully.

The Apple Watch Series 8 Hermes boasts a 41 mm case size and a 1.8-inch Always-On Retina LTPO OLED display. It is a touch-enabled screen that delivers a resolution of 352 x 430. The display area of the device is 904 square mm and features rounded corners for a sleek look. The front of the device is covered by a Sapphire crystal layer resistant to scratches. The back is made of Sapphire crystal and Ceramic that connects to the charger. 

This Apple Watch model is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash storage and comes with haptic feedback for the Digital Crown, offering users a more tactile experience as they navigate through content. Apple claims that the battery life of this device is 18 hours, depending on usage.

This model is available in two stainless steel housings: Silver or Space Black, with various band color options.
