Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 8 – A2858 Cellular on September 7, 2022. This model is only available in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The Apple Watch Series 8 and Series 7 shares several similar features with two major changes including a temperature sensor and crash detection feature. Compared to the older Apple Watch Series, this model has a larger display area, an Always-On screen, and the latest health features. This model has aluminum and stainless steel body options. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or later (with iOS16 or later) to use the Internet and perform some additional functions.

The Apple Watch Series 8 – A2858 features a 1.9-inch LTPO Always-On Retina display equipped with OLED technology to maintain perfect black and high contrast characteristics and excellent picture quality. The face of this Apple Watch is 45 mm. The touch-capable display of this device delivers 396 x 484 resolution with 1000 nits brightness level. It has a display area of 1143 square mm with rounded edges. The aluminum casing variant of this model uses a scratch-resistant Ion-X glass cover, and the stainless steel body has durable Sapphire crystal for scratch resistance. Both variants feature Sapphire crystal back that connects to the charger.

This Apple Watch has 1 GB RAM and 32 GB flash storage. Apple installed Digital Crown with haptic feedback on this Apple Watch to easily navigate and magnify content on a small display. According to Apple, the battery life of this Apple Watch is around 18 hours which also depends on the usage. 

The aluminum case of this Apple Watch comes in four colors: warm Gray Starlight, nearly black Midnight, silver, and (PRODUCT) RED. The stainless steel options for this device include Gold, Graphite, and Silver.
