Apple introduced the iPad Air M2 13-Inch (Wi-Fi+Cellular China) on May 7, 2024. This model showcases significant advancements over its predecessors, featuring a more powerful processor, enhanced display, and improved connectivity. 

The iPad Air M2 13-Inch boasts a fully-laminated, antireflective 12.9-inch LED-backlit Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2732×2048 (264 ppi) and 600 nits brightness. This display supports wide-color (P3), True Tone technology, and has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic and antireflective coating, although it does not include ProMotion technology. The device is encased in a slim aluminum frame with rounded corners and flat sides, available in Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Gray.     

Powered by the 3.49 GHz Apple M2 processor, this iPad Air includes 8 cores (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and offers storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB, ensuring a smooth and efficient performance. The device supports a memory bandwidth of 100 GB/s.     

Connectivity features include a USB-C port supporting USB 3 (up to 10 Gb/s), dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) with 2×2 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, the top button integrates Touch ID for secure authentication.     

For photography and video, the iPad Air M2 13-Inch is equipped with a single 12-megapixel Wide rear camera capable of 4K video recording, and a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide front camera that supports 1080p video and the Center Stage feature, which automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame. Notably, this model does not support Face ID. The device also includes dual landscape stereo speakers and dual microphones. 

The battery life is impressive, offering up to 10 hours of web surfing on Wi-Fi or video watching, and up to 9 hours on cellular data. This longevity ensures that users can enjoy extended use without frequent charging.      

This model fully supports the latest iPadOS 17 and includes various accessories such as a USB-C Charge Cable (1 meter) and a 20W USB-C power adapter. While it is not sold in the United States, it is available in mainland China at various price points depending on the storage capacity.
