Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 Plus A2886 model on September 7, 2022. This model is available to buy everywhere in the world. This latest iPhone model features a bigger display, better battery life, and a powerful GPU.

The internal architecture of this model has a Hexa-core 5 nm A15 Bionic chip. The clock speed of this processor is 3.2 GHz with six cores. A 5-core graphics processor is installed with the CPU to support high-quality graphics. This iPhone also has a 16-core Neural Engine.

Apple introduced a larger 6.7-inch all-screen OLED Super Retina XDR display in this model. The display of this model is an HDR display that supports True Tone capability, Wide color (P3), and Haptic Touch. It has a high display resolution of 2778 x 1284 (458 ppi) and provides better color accuracy with 1200 nits peak brightness (HDR). It has a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio (typical).

This iPhone features a dual camera system on its back side. A 12-megapixel Main camera (f/1.5 aperture) and a 12-megapixel Ultra-Wide camera (f/2.4 aperture) with a 120-degree field of view. It also has a front 12-megapixel selfie camera known as TrueDepth Camera, used for FaceID recognition. Apple introduced Photonic Engine, Deep Fusion, and a larger aperture in these cameras for optimum performance in low light. A brighter True Tone flash and Night mode are also added for capturing dark scenes and sharper photos. The cameras also support Smart HDR 4 and Portrait mode for improved contrast and lighting.

The frame of the iPhone 14 Plus A2885 is made of aluminum with glass front and back. The front side has a Ceramic Shield cover, and the back has a magnetic connection for wireless charging. This model supports Dual eSIM but lacks physical nano-SIM compatibility. This model is water, splash, and dust-resistant under the standard IP68. The available colors for this model are Midnight, Purple, Starlight, (PRODUCT)Red, and Blue.

This model has 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2×2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Gigabit LTE with 4×4 MIMO, and supports Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. Apple introduced a new Crash detection feature in this model with Emergency SOS via satellite.
