Apple unveiled the latest iPhone 14 A2884 on September 9, 2022. The A2884 model is available to purchase in China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao regions. Apple used the same processor in this iPhone 14 model as of iPhone 13. However, a faster GPU, a better camera, and a slightly bigger battery size are featured in iPhone 14.

The iPhone 14 A2884 packs an impressive A15 Bionic processor. The CPU has 6 cores divided into 2 performance and 4 efficiency cores. Another enhancement Apple added to iPhone 14 is more GPU cores. The GPU of this model has 5 cores that enable even smoother graphics for video apps and high-performance gaming. It also has a 16-core Neural Engine that accelerates tasks like video analysis and image processing. 

This model has an all-screen OLED 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio (typical). It provides a display resolution of 2532 x 1170 at 460 ppi with 800 nits peak brightness (typical) and HDR brightness of 1200 nits. This model also supports True Tone, HDR, Wide Color, and Haptic Touch. The display is protected by Ceramic Shield.              

The dual camera system on its backside has one Main 12-megapixel and one Ultra-Wide 12-megapixel camera. Both cameras have longer focal lengths for better quality images and low-light photography. The cameras are supported by Apple’s latest image processing techniques and Photonic Engine to increase the quality of captured images. The front camera placed on the top center of the phone is a 12-megapixel TrueDepth Camera responsible for recording and capturing high-quality photos and videos. TrueDepth Camera is also used for FaceID recognition.

The iPhone 14 A2884 is available in five colors: Midnight, Purple, Starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, and Blue. This model does not support eSIM instead, it has dual physical nano-SIM compatibility. This model uses an aluminum body with a glass back. 

The connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3, 5G with 4×4 MIMO, Gigabit LTE with 4×4 MIMO, and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 2×2 MIMO. Apple also introduced a connection for satellite communication in this model.
