Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Ultra A2859 on September 7, 2022. This cellular model is only available in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Apple designed this first endurance Apple Watch model specifically for users with more physical and outdoor activities. This Apple Watch Ultra model is certified with military standards (MIL-STD- 810H) of durability. This model is swim proof. It can withstand recreational dives to 40 m (EN13319). Apple claimed that this watch is bigger and brighter compared to other Apple Watch models. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or later (with iOS16 or later) to use the Internet and perform additional functions.
This model uses a 49 mm case size with a 1.92-inch Always-On Retina LTPO OLED display. This device’s display is touch-capable, providing a resolution of 410 x 502. The display area is 1185 square mm with rounded corners. It uses a Titanium case with a Sapphire crystal cover to protect the display against scratches. It also features a Ceramic and Sapphire crystal back that connects to the charger.
The Apple Watch Ultra A2859 model has 1 GB RAM and 32 GB internal flash storage. Apple provides haptic feedback for the Digital Crown, which gives people a more tactile experience as they scroll through content. It has two buttons: A Silver button under the Digital Crown and an Orange Action button on the other side of the housing. Apple claims that the battery life of this device is 36 hours, associated with the mode of usage.
This Apple Watch model is only available in one natural Silver color with titanium housing.
