The Apple Watch Series 8 – A2770 was launched on September 7, 2022. It is almost identical to its predecessor Apple Watch Series 7. However, Apple introduced some advancements like temperature sensors, a more powerful gyroscope, an accelerometer to support Crash Detection for automobile crashes, and a Low Power Mode option. It has a dual-core Apple S8 processor, which is 20% faster than the S5 chip. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or later (with iOS16 or later) to use the Internet and perform some additional functions.

The case size of this watch is 41 mm featuring a 352 x 430 LTPO OLED Always-On Retina display. It is a touch-capable display controlled with a Digital Crown with haptic feedback to give users a more tactile experience while they scroll through the content. It delivers 1000 nits brightness while using Ion-X glass for scratch resistivity. 

This GPS model features 1 GB onboard RAM and 32 GB flash storage to support users’ main demands. The battery life of this Apple Watch is estimated to be up to 18 hours depending on the usage. However, enabling low power mode can extend it up to 36 hours by disabling the Always-On Display and other functions.
