The iPhone 13 Pro Max A2641 was released by Apple on September 14, 2021, and is intended to be sold in the Canadian, Mexican, Japanese, Saudi Arabia, Guam, and Puerto Rico markets. As a member of the iPhone 13 product line, it uses the A15 Bionic chip as the main phone processor. The powerful chipset A15 has a 64-bit architecture, giving A15 a significant advantage over its predecessor, the A14 chip (used in the iPhone 12T product line).

The A2641 has a haptic touch display with a bigger screen, and the resolution is 2778 x 1284 pixels at 458 ppi. The diagonal screen size is 6.7 inches, compared to the 6.1 inches of the iPhone 13 Pro. It is the “Super Retina XR” OLED display with 120 Hz refresh capability. This is the result of the new “Promotion technology”, and with an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 10 Hz to 120 Hz, the phone has a 200 nit brighter display than the standard iPhone 13 in non-HDR mode.

The A2641’s internal memory is 6 GB, and for the storage flash memory, the user can choose from 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of RAM. The Dual SIM feature is present and works with either two active eSIMs or a nano-SIM and an eSIM. 

The camera system is improved compared to the previous iPhone 13 product line, such as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which has much better sensors, better low-light photography with reduced noise, and a new macro support feature. All cameras have a 12 MP resolution and can shoot 4K video. The front one has an aperture of f/2.2 and can achieve Portrait Lighting with six effects, such as Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, and High-Key Mono. The LIDAR sensor, which is mounted on the rear, rapidly increases the possibilities related to augmented reality usage (AR) or quality night or low-light shooting. Besides the front camera, the unit has 3 cameras on the rear, such as a Wide (f/1.5 aperture with sensor-shift optical image stabilization), Ultrawide (f/1.8 and 120-degree field of view), and Telephoto (f/2.8 aperture) camera. It is able to optically zoom in three times due to its telephoto lens and digitally zoom in 15x. The Cinematic mode for recording videos in 1080p at 30 cps can be performed with a shallow depth of field. HDR video recording with Dolby Vision can record up to 4K at 60 fps.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a stainless steel body with a ceramic shield on the front, and the back side is made of glass. It is equipped with the ability to withstand water depths of up to 6 meters for 30 minutes and meets the IP68 standard. Also, the phone is splash and dust-resistant. There are five color options for the case, such as Sierra Blue, Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Alpine Green.
