The Ipad 10.2″ 7th Gen model A2198 was officially launched on September 10, 2019. This 7th-Gen iPad has a bigger screen size than the iPad 6th-Gen. This is the first-ever iPad to feature Smart Connector and an Apple Smart Keyboard. Apple introduced the A10 Fusion chip in this iPad Pro, a 2.34 GHz processor with eight cores.
This iPad features a 10.2-inch Liquid Retina display. The display of this iPad is fully-laminated and antireflective and comes with an LED-backlit feature and oleophobic coating. The front camera of this iPad is a 1.2 MP center stage Ultra-wide camera known as “Face Time HD” TrueDepth camera responsible for FaceID recognition and taking high-quality images.
This iPad has a one-camera dual camera system on the back. The dual rear camera of this iPad comprises 8 MP resolution wide-angle and 10 MP ultra-wide cameras. This iPad model supports a Touch ID sensor, LiDAR Scan support, external keyboards, and trackpads. It comes with an original 1st Gen Apple Pencil that can be charged with a magnetic connection. This model is available in three colors – gold, silver, and “Space Gray”.
This 10.2-inch iPad Pro model has rounded corners and flat sides with a slim design. It weighs around 1.09 pounds (493 grams). The dimensions of this model are 6.8 inches (width), 9.8 inches (height), and 0.29 inches (depth). This iPad has a Lightning port to provide connectivity to computers and power. It supports GSM/LTE cellular bands (except Band 71 of 600MHz) and also supports Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology and dual-band 802.11ac (HT80).

Upgradeability
The storage capacity is configurable from 32 GB or 128 GB. The Operating System installed on the tablet could be upgraded from iOS 13.1 (17A844) to the current iOS. It supports the final version of iPadOS 13. It also supports the final version of iPadOS 14 but lacks the support for advanced features such as ARKit Depth API and Location Anchors, as well as On-Device Dictation. It also supports the final version of iPadOS 15 but lacks the support of advanced features such as Spatial Audio, Portrait Mode, 3D Landmarks, Interactive Globe, Live Text in Photos, Live Text Translation, and Visual Look Up. Furthermore, it supports the current version of iPadOS 16 while lacking advanced features such as Stage Manager, Reference Mode, Live Text, expanded Siri capabilities, Accessibility Detection, Live Captions, improved Dictation, Virtual Memory Swap and Visual Look Up.
