How many megapixels is the iPhone X camera?

The iPhone X is equipped with Apple’s fastest 12MP sensor with new telephoto lens, color filter and deeper pixels. While it shares a lot of the same features as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, it is the only iOS device equipped with a TrueDepth front-facing camera and Face ID. Other new features include Apple’s new Portrait Lighting technology that adds “studio‑quality” lighting effects to faces, an improved Portrait mode and the Animoji face tracking technology.
