Apple launched the iPad Pro M4 13-Inch (Wi-Fi Only) on May 7, 2024. This model features an impressive 13-inch “Tandem OLED” backlit Ultra Retina XDR display with a resolution of 2752×2064 pixels and 264 ppi. The screen provides an SDR brightness of 1000 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1600 nits, making it ideal for both work and entertainment. The display supports ProMotion technology, offering adaptive refresh rates from 10 Hz to 120 Hz, ensuring smooth and responsive interactions.    

The iPad Pro M4 is powered by a 4.4 GHz Apple M4 processor, which includes a 10-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. It boasts 120 GB/s of memory bandwidth. Models with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage come with 8 GB of onboard RAM, while the 1 TB or 2 TB storage options come with 16 GB of onboard RAM. Additionally, the higher storage variants can be upgraded with nano-texture glass for reduced glare.        

This iPad Pro supports a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port, making it versatile for various peripherals and accessories. It also works seamlessly with external keyboards and trackpads via the Smart Connector and the new Apple Pencil Pro, which features enhanced interactivity with additional sensors for gestures like squeeze and barrel roll.        

In terms of camera capabilities, the iPad Pro M4 includes a landscape-oriented 12 MP front TrueDepth camera that supports Center Stage and Face ID authentication. The rear camera setup consists of a 12 MP wide camera capable of 4K video recording. While it lacks the ultra-wide rear camera found in its predecessors, the device compensates with advanced imaging features.       

Connectivity options for the iPad Pro M4 include dual-band 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3. It also features a studio-quality four-microphone array and a robust four-speaker sys0tem, ensuring excellent audio performance for media consumption and video calls.   

Apple estimates the battery life of this model to be around 10 hours, making it a reliable companion for all-day usage, whether for browsing the web, streaming videos, or working on creative projects.         

The iPad Pro M4 13-Inch is available in Silver and Space Black. It weighs approximately 1.28 lbs (579 grams) and measures 11.09 x 8.48 x 0.20 inches. Compared to its predecessor, this model is thinner, faster, and features a higher quality display with enhanced brightness and color accuracy.
