Screen Size and Resolution

The Mac Pro has a primary display support for up to 8 displays and a resolution support of 2560 x 1600.  It also has a 2^nd display support of 1920 x 1200.

This is powered by two 2.8 GHz Quad Core 45-nm Intel Xeon E5462 (Harpertown/Penryn) processor with 12 MB of level 2 cache (each pair of cores shares 6 MB), a 128-bit SSE4 vector engine, and 1.6 GHz “64-bit dual independent frontside buses”.  The graphics processor is ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT with 256 MB of GDDR3 memory and two dual-link DVI ports.

Memory & Architecture

The device has 2 GB of 800 MHz DDR2 EEC “fully-buffered” FB-DIMM memory for its RAM. This is centered around a 64-bit architecture.

Available Upgrades

Although the Mac Pro comes with 2 GB of RAM, but it can be upgraded up to 64 GB of RAM.  The operating system of the Mac Pro can be upgraded from its pre-installed Mac OS X 10.5.1 (9B2117) up to MacOS X 10.11.x. This Mac Pro can also host Windows XP SP2 (32-Bit) and more recently Windows 7 (64-Bit).  This Mac Pro has the dimensions of 511 mm × 206 mm × 475 mm and weighs 42.4 lbs (19.2 kg).
