Apple launched the iPad Pro A2435 on October 18, 2022. The iPad Pro 11-inch (Wi-Fi/Cell US – 4th Gen) has a nano-SIM slot as well as eSIM support which is compatible with carriers in the United States. This model provides excellent processing speed and graphics performance with improved CPU and GPU.
Apple introduced its latest M2 processing in this iPad Pro featuring a total of 8 cores. It has a 10-core GPU for better graphics processing and high frame rates. It also has a 16-core Neural Engine that accelerates the machine-learning processes. This model can be equipped with either 8 GB or 16 GB RAM. The memory bandwidth of this iPad Pro model is 100 GB/s.
The iPad Pro A2435 has a fully-laminated 11-inch Liquid Retina display with a 2388 x 1668 resolution (264 ppi) and typical brightness of 600 nits. The display of this model features ProMotion technology (adaptive refresh rates of up to 120 Hz), True Tone, and P3 wide color to make everything feel responsive and visually appealing.
This model has a Pro Camera System (pair of back cameras). The two rear cameras are a 12 MP Wide-Angle and a 10 MP Ultra-Wide angle. The back cameras can capture images and record videos of excellent quality. These cameras also support ProRes video capture and Smart HDR 4 for improved color, contrast, and lighting. The iPad Pro A2435 features a front 12 MP TrueDepth camera that is primarily used for FaceID identification. It can also record 1080p videos and high-resolution photographs with Center Stage functionality to maintain the subjects within the frame.
Other features of this iPad Pro model include a LiDAR scanner, external keyboards and trackpads, and the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051), charged magnetically. The hover feature of this iPad Pro model detects and provides previews when the tip of an Apple Pencil 2 is just above the top of the display.
The front of this iPad Pro model is glass with a thin black bezel boundary. It has a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides. This model comes with a Silver or a darker Space Gray color option for the backside. The iPad A2435 is only 1.04 pounds in weight (470 g). It is 7.02 inches wide, 9.74 inches in height, and 0.23 inches in depth.
Connectivity options for this iPad Pro model include Thunderbolt / USB 4, dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) with 2×2 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, it has a four-speaker system and five microphones.
The 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage variants of this model can be configured with 8 GB RAM. For 1 TB and 2 TB models, this iPad can be equipped with 16 GB onboard RAM. This model features 100 GB/s of memory bandwidth.
The iPad Pro A2435 has an LED-backlit, fully laminated anti-reflective 11-inch Liquid Retina display. The display of this model has ProMotion technology (automatically adjusts the display refresh rate up to 120 Hz), True Tone, and Wide Color (P3) support. The native resolution of the display is 2388 x 1668 at 264 ppi with 600 nits typical brightness. It also has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic and antireflectant (1.8% reflectivity) coating. The Home button is absent in this model.
This iPad Pro is powered by an Apple Silicon M2 8‑core CPU that delivers up to 15 percent faster performance than its predecessor M1 processor. The clock speed of this CPU is 3.49 GHz. The cores are divided into four performance cores and four efficiency cores. A 10-core GPU is also installed for improved graphics performance. A 16-core Neural Engine supports every machine learning task like image processing or speech recognition.
This model comes with a pre-installed iPadOS 16.1 (20B82) and also fully supports the current version of iPadOS.
An internal 28.65 Whr Lithium Polymer battery powers this iPad Pro. It provides a battery life of 9-10 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing or watching videos.
There are two storage capacity options for this iPad Pro model. This model supports 8 GB RAM and can be configured with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage. Additionally, this model offers 16 GB RAM for 1 TB or 2 TB of storage space.
This model is capable of being upgraded to the most recent iPadOS, including the most recent iPadOS, iPadOS 16.
