About this iPhone

The iPhone 12 Model A2404 was announced on October 13, 2020, and sold in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. This smartphone has A14 Bionic chip that runs at 3.0GHz. It uses 64 bits and 4GB internal RAM. Besides this, it has 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of storage memory.

The new A14 Bionic chip has many advantages and faster graphic processing compared to the previous A13 chip. It has much better performance and comes with a more powerful chipset including Neural Engine with 16 cores.

The resolution of 1170×2532 pixels with 16M colors and OLED technology provides a natural color display with precise details and enhanced brightness. This iPhone has three cameras – two at the rear and one at the front side. The camera at the front is tucked in the notch and is a “TrueDepth” camera. It supports an advanced face identification feature (Face ID) and can take 12 megapixels photos. The rear cameras represent a dual-camera system that can take Wide and Ultrawide pictures, which cover up to 120 degrees view angle. The A14 processor can perform fast image processing and is able to apply computational photography to improve the low light performance of an image and to reduce noise.

The cameras on the front and on the rear side have a resolution of 12 megapixels. All cameras use so-called Advanced machine learning to optimize details and the color of the photo. The front camera can work in 6 types of Portrait modes and perform Face identification, which enables Apple Pay and can be added as a security part to other applications on IOS 14 or IOS15.

The phone is made resistant to water, splash, and dust, and can resist water pressure of up to 6 meters deep without damage, thus satisfying the IP68 ratings.

The phone case is colored red, white, purple, blue, green, and black and the shield is covered with scratch resistant ceramic material.
