The a1370 Apple MacBook Air model released October 20,2010 comes with an Intel 1.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processor (SU9400). It is equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce 320 M graphics processor that makes use of 256 MB of system memory. Being the successor of the launch model, some of the major upgrades include the swapping out of the hard drive for solid state storage. This allows the model to become more portable and less fragile. This MacBook Air comes with either 64 or 128 GB SSD of flash storage. This is an upgrade from the previous generations. The inclusion of an SSD prevents damage to the device caused by drops or sudden jolts. It also allowed Apple to reduce the size of this device.

This MacBook Air sub-notebook has an 11.6” widescreen TFT LED-backlit active-matrix glossy display and a 1366 x 768 native resolution. The inclusion of a smaller screen size helped the device find a niche in its industry and further emphasizedits portability.
