About this iPad Pro
The iPad Pro 12.9-inch Model A2229 (4th generation) was released on March 25, 2020. It works only on WiFi, without cellular communications, and supports dual-band 802.11ax WiFi. It has a fully laminated 12.9-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2732×2048 pixels and 600 nits of brightness. To provide a wide color gamut and a True Tone capability to the user, the display is protected with an anti-reflexive cover and is also fingerprint and oleophobic protected. It fully supports an Apple pencil, which is offered as an option.
It comes with an Apple A12Z Bionic chip that works at a 2.5GHz clock frequency. It is directly connected to the 6GB internal RAM and has a 64-bit architecture. The additional flash memory comes with 128GB of storage but can be upgraded to 256GB or 512GB. The maximum is the 1 TB option. Also, one Nano-SIM and one e-SIM are supported.
The unit has 3 cameras on the front and rear sides. The front camera is a TrueDepth one, which provides Face identification and has many Portrait mode capabilities. This selfie camera comes with a 7MP resolution and an f/2.2 aperture. Except for the standard smart HDR and Portrait Lightning features, it has an exposure control and backside illumination sensor. The cameras on the rear offer a Wide and Ultrawide (125 degrees) angle of view with f/1.8 and f/2.4 corresponding apertures. All cameras feature noise reduction and have auto image stabilization. The LIDAR scanner continuously improves iPad applications and 3D scanning and distance measuring, so the A2229 comes with 30 built-in apps, some of which cannot perform without the LIDAR. The case can be in Silver or Space Gray color.
