Apple continued the production of the MacBook Pro in late 2011 by introducing the MacBook Pro MD314LL A with a Core i7 processor with 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3 – 10600) and 750 GB of hard drive space. There is the inclusion of the Thunderbolt standard port that supports 10 Gbps of bandwidth in both directions similar to the MD311LL A and is also used by peripherals as it could support resolutions as high as 2560×1600 and audio signal.

Upgradability
The MD314LL AMacBook Pro comes standard with 4GB of RAM, but users have the ability to upgrade it up to 16GB. The operating system of the MacBook Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.7.2 (11C74) to up to current MacOS X. It can also be a host to the Windows OS 7 (32-Bit) at a minimum and accommodate operating system as high as the Windows 8.1 (64-Bit). This MacBook Pro comes with dimensions of 0.95 in ×12.78 in ×8.94 in and a weight of 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg)
