Apple continued the production of the MacBook Pro A1286 in late 2011 by introducing the MacBook Pro MD318LL/A with a Core i7 processor with 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3 – 10600) and 500 GB of hard drive space. There is the inclusion of the thunderbolt standard port that supports 10 Gbps of bandwidth in both directions and is also used by peripherals as it can support resolutions as high as 2560×1600 and audio signal.

It can also be a host to the Windows OS 7 (32-Bit) at a minimum and accommodate an operating system as high as the Windows 8.1 (64-Bit).
