Midway through 2010, Apple introduced a new MacBook Proline-up powered by Core 2 Duo (P8800) processors. Some of the main features include – two graphics processors built-in, the NVIDIA GeForce 320M (provides better graphics), and Intel HD Graphics (provides better battery life). The switch between the two processors is determined by the operating system depending on what applications are in use. A turbo boost for the processor speed is also supported on this system when there is a significant workload identified. It is a high quality device. Further specifications and capabilities for this MacBook Pro can be found below.

Storage
The hard drive storage is 320 GB which was almost doubled from the previous year. This may seem small by today’s standards, but consideringthe base model MacBook Pro 2017 has only 256 GB SDD this is a fairly large storage.
Screen Size and Resolution
This version of the MacBook Pro comes in with a 13.3’ screen, but also a customizable display. The default display is the TFT active-matrix “glossy” display with 1280×800native resolution.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
The MacBook Pro comes pre-installed with macOS X 10.6.3 (10D2125) and standard with a 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (P8800). It has an NVIDIA GeForce 320M GT graphics processor with 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM.
Memory & Architecture
Applications also run smoothly due to the 3 MB of Level 2 cache plus a 1066 MHz frontside bus with 4 GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3-8500) All of this is centered on a 64-Bit architecture.
Battery Life
The MacBook Pro comes with a 63.5 watt-hour lithium polymer battery that provides 10 hours of wireless use. This battery configuration is non-swappable which is commonly found in more recent models.
Upgradability
This MacBook Pro can be upgraded from 4 GB RAM up to 16 GB RAM. However, many individuals noted that more than 4 GB of RAM would be most beneficial. The operating system of the MacBook Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.6.3 (10D2125) to up to MacOS X current. It can also be a host to Windows OS XP SP 2 (32-Bit) and accommodates operating systems as recent as the Windows 8.1 (64-Bit).This MacBook Pro comes with dimensions of 0.95 in x 12.78 in x 8.94 in and weighs 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). Again, very similar to previous generations which is impressive considering the more advanced technology being packed into the same shell.
