In 2015 Apple released a higher-end configuration of the 1.6GHz i5 model MJVE2LL/A. The built-to-order MacBook Air model MMGG2LL/A, features a fifth-generation “Broadwell ULT” 2.2GHz i7 Intel Processor.
One of the major differences from the previous 2014 model includes an updated Wi-Fi adapter to the 802.11ac standard that is backward compatible with the 802.11a/b/g/n. The battery also received a massive upgrade increasing its life by close to 12 hours. This is almost doubled from the previous generations.
The 13.3” widescreen came with a 1440 x 900 native resolution. The graphics processor used is the Intel HD Graphics 6000 which uses up to 1.5 GB of system memory.
