The A2098 iPhone Xs is based on the same outer shell as the iPhone X models. Like most “s” variants of the iPhone, Apple looks to improve the internal specifications in order to keep the device on the leading edge of technology. The iPhone Xs features 3 cameras, one on the front of the device which sits inside the notch at the top of the phone. The other two cameras are on the rear side of the phone and provide both telephone and wide angle lenses. The iPhone has been upgraded to the new Apple A12 Bionic processor and has also been bumped up from 3 GB of RAM to 4 GB of RAM when compared to the previous model.
The iPhone Xs features an outer shell with glass on both the front and rear sides. The rest of the case is made out of surgical grade stainless steel and comes in 3 color options, silver, gold and, Space Gray. The glass backing allows for wireless charging on the device and the phone is both splashand water resistant as well as dust resistant. With an IP68 rating, the device can handle a maximum depth of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes.
