The iPhone 6 ran on the 1.4GHz Apple A8 processor with 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The phone could be configured with 16, 32, 64 or, 128 GB of flash storage and featured the touch ID sensor which was first introduced in the iPhone 5s. The iPhone 6 was the first iPhone to feature NFC(Near Field Communication) which allowed users to pay wirelessly with their phones. The iPhone 6 also supported 4G/LTE as well as Bluetooth 4.2. The device a1549 came in a new aluminum casing and was available in silver, gold and, space gray. This device marked the start of the slim rounded casing found in modern iPhones.
The iPhone 5c was mainly marketed to individuals who loved the Apple brand but did not have the sufficient means to get into the line-up at the current prices. Apple was able to cut back on a few features and expensive casings to give a more affordable iPhone to users.
