About this iPad
The 10.2″ iPad 9th Gen model A2603 was officially launched on September 14, 2021. This 9th-Gen iPad has the same screen size as the 8th-Gen but has a faster processor and much better characteristics. Also, this iPad features Smart Connector and an Apple Smart Keyboard like the previous iPad 8th Gen models. Apple introduced the A13 Bionic chip in this iPad Pro, a 2.6 GHz processor with Neural Engine.
This iPad features a 10.2-inch Liquid Retina display. The display of this iPad is a True Tone display which is fully laminated and antireflective and comes with an LED-backlit feature and an oleophobic coating. The front camera of this iPad is a 12 MP, center stage, Ultra-wide camera known as “Face Time HD” TrueDepth camera responsible for FaceID recognition and taking high-quality images.
This iPad has a one-camera on the back. The rear camera of this iPad comprises 8 MP resolution and Wide-angle and 10 MP ultra-wide cameras. This iPad model supports a Touch ID sensor, LiDAR Scan support, external keyboards, and trackpads. It comes with an original Apple Pencil (A1603, MK0C2AM/A) that can be charged with a magnetic connection.
This model is available in two colors – silver or “Space Gray”. This 10.2-inch iPad Pro model has rounded corners and flat sides with a slim design. It weighs around 1.09 pounds (498 grams). The dimensions of this model are 6.8 inches (width), 9.8 inches (height), and 0.29 inches (depth). This iPad has a Lightning port to provide connectivity to computers and power.
It supports GSM/LTE cellular bands, except Band 28 (700 APT MHz), and also supports Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology and dual-band 802.11ac (HT80). The storage capacity is configurable from 64 GB to 256 GB. This model fully supports the final version of iPadOS 15. It also supports the newer versions of iPadOS 16 but lacks the support of advanced features such as support the advanced Stage Manager, Reference Mode, Accessibility Detection, and Virtual Memory Swap.
