The Apple iMac Intel Aluminum released June 2015 had some uniqueness of its own from the other models such as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi which is backward compatible with the 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. It had an 8 GB of 1867 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM (PC3-14900). The “thick at the middle and thin at the edges” design remained the same in this release of the computer just as in the early 2012 version.
