Jay Z’s music streaming service Tidal has made a lot of headlines with its so-called “exclusive” releases. A class action lawsuit filed in 2016 claimed the music streaming company lied about its exclsuive rights to Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo, and it only had Beyoncé’s Lemonade for one day before the album landed on iTunes. Even with all the misleading “exclusives” and troubled releases, like with Rihanna’s album Anti, Tidal is still holding on with 3 million subscribers and it saw a big boost on the Apple App Store after exclusively launching The Life of Pablo. Tidal is also the only music streaming service that offers Prince’s complete catalog. If that’s enough to get you interested in the service, or you just want to try something other than Apple Music or Spotify, here are the subscription prices for Tidal. You can download the Tidal app for free from the Apple App Store, and subscribe to the service as an in-app purchase.
