How can I see Calendar list view in iOS 7?

Apple has completely redesigned the stock Calendar app in iOS 7. For those used to the previous version, the layout will not look familiar. Each day displays scheduled events in a block of time, so to see all events scrolling is required. So how can a compact list of scheduled events be viewed?
