Apple launched the Apple Watch Series 8 – A2775 Cellular 45 mm model on September 7, 2022. This Apple Watch model is currently available for purchase all around the globe except the countries including the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and China. This model shares several standard features with its predecessors (Series 7). Apple’s notable improvements in this model are temperature sensors for expanded health monitoring and Crash detection. The device is available in both aluminum and stainless steel case options, with four color options (warm Gray Starlight, nearly black Midnight, Silver, and (PRODUCT) RED) for the aluminum case and three (Gold, Graphite, and Silver) for the stainless steel. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or later (with iOS16 or later) to use the Internet and perform additional functions.
The Apple Watch Series 8 – A2775 Cellular features a 1.9-inch Always-On Retina LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 396 x 484 and a 45 mm casing size. Depending on the case material, the display is protected by either Ion-X glass or Sapphire crystal. The device also has 32 GB of internal flash storage and 1 GB of RAM, and a Digital Crown with haptic feedback for easy navigation.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit dual-core S8 processor with System In Package architecture. This model comes with pre-installed watchOS 9 (20R361). It is also fully compatible with the latest watchOS version. The device has a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery that provides a battery life of 18 hours and can last up to 36 hours when Low Power Mode is enabled.
The Apple Watch Series 8 – A2775 Cellular weighs 1.37 ounces (38.8 grams) in the aluminum casing and 1.82 ounces (51.5 grams) in the stainless steel casing. It measures 1.77 inches in height, 1.50 inches in width, and 0.42 inches in depth.
