The A3287 iPhone 16 is compatible with a wide range of 5G bands, including FDD-5G NR bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n26, n28, n30, n66, n70, n75, and n76, as well as TDD-5G NR bands n38, n40, n41, n48, n53, n77, n78, and n79. However, it does not support bands n14, n29, n71, or mmWave bands n258, n260, and n261. Although it is sold in 186 countries, it is not available in the US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, China, and a few other regions. The device supports eSIM and nano SIM cards.
Featuring a haptic-touch capable 6.1″ “Super Retina XDR” display (2556×1179, 460 ppi), the iPhone 16 includes a front-facing TrueDepth camera with a f/1.9 aperture, capable of 12-megapixel photos and 4K video. Its rear boasts a dual-camera system with a 48-megapixel Fusion camera (f/1.6) alongside a 12-megapixel telephoto and ultra-wide camera.
The aluminum case has a glass front with Ceramic Shield durability and a color-infused glass back with integrated MagSafe charging. It is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance (up to 6 meters for 30 minutes) and comes in five colors: Ultramarine, Teal, Pink, White, and Black.
Internally, the iPhone 16 is powered by a 4.0 GHz Apple A18 processor, featuring six cores, a 5-core GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. It offers 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage and supports 802.11be Wi-Fi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and various advanced features like Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via satellite.
Apple estimates the iPhone 16 provides up to 80 hours of audio playback, 22 hours of video playback, and 18 hours of streamed video playback. Prices in the UK are £799, £899, and £1,099 for the respective storage options, with financing available over two years at £33.29, £37.45, and £45.79 per month.
