Apple recently launched the iPhone 14 Pro Max A2896 model on September 7, 2022. This model is sold in China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao. The new features of the iPhone 14 Pro Max A2896 include the powerful A16 Bionic processor, 5-core GPU, bigger high-res display, and better cameras with quad-pixel sensor.

This model’s processing power comes from Apple’s latest 5 nm A16 Bionic chip. This processor has six CPU cores. This iPhone’s five-core GPU can effortlessly handle graphics-intensive video editing and gaming applications. A 16-core Neural Engine is also installed to further improve performance for machine learning tasks like image processing and voice processing.

The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display of the iPhone 14 A2896 supports haptic touch. This all-screen OLED display features a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a resolution of 2796 x 1290 pixels at 460 ppi.  This model’s display provides a peak brightness of 1000 nits for typical and a peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR. Additionally, it supports HDR, True Tone, and Wide color (P3). ProMotion technology is also integrated for adaptive refresh rates (120 Hz Refresh rate).

There are four cameras in this model. On the back, it has three cameras that are arranged diagonally: a 48 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12 MP telephoto camera. In addition to several improvements, Apple improved the Action mode and Cinematic mode in this model’s cameras. It also makes use of a Photonic Engine and Deep Fusion to capture image details in low to medium light. Apple also upgraded the cameras and includes a quad-pixel sensor, which prevents resolution loss in low-light conditions and creates low-noise nighttime photos. A pill-shaped hole on the top center of the display known as the Dynamic Island has a 12 MP TrueDepth camera. The TrueDepth camera supports FaceID recognition and 4K video recording capability.

The front and back of this model are made of glass. The case is made of stainless steel with flat sides. The display is shielded by a durable ceramic shield. It is IP68 rated (splash, water, and dust-resistant). This iPhone comes in Deep Purple, Silver, Gold, and Space Black colors.

This iPhone has the support for two nano-SIM cards. It does not support eSIM. In terms of connectivity, this model supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2×2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, Ultra Wideband for spatial awareness, NFC for Apple Pay, and Express Cards with power reserve. It also has a brand-new security function called Crash Detection that uses satellite-based Emergency SOS.
