Apple just released the iPhone 14 A2881 on September 9, 2022. This model is specifically sold in Canada, Guam, Japan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and USVI. This iPhone model has a pleasant body as well as packed with powerful features.
The iPhone 14 A2881 came with Apple’s powerful A15 Bionic chip. The performance and efficiency of this model are also powered by a 5-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. Apple added an additional core to its GPU to achieve higher performance gains than previous iPhone models.
The display of this model features 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR technology covering the entire front side of the phone. It can provide 2532 x 1170, 460 ppi resolution with a peak brightness of 800 nits for typical content (1200 nits for HDR). It is also equipped with features including True Tone, HDR compatibility, Haptic Touch, and Wide Color.
Apple introduced significant camera enhancements to this model by increasing the lens’s aperture. It features a 12 MP Main camera and a 12 MP Ultra-Wide camera on the back. The cameras of this model can record 4K videos at 60 fps having digital zoom of up to 5x. The front side has a 12 MP TrueDepth camera that performs excellently in low light. The TrueDepth camera is also responsible for FaceID recognition.
The iPhone 14 A2881 uses an aluminum case with a ceramic shield on the front side and a glass back. This model is rated IP68 Standard to withstand water, splash, and dust resistance. This model has five color options: Midnight, Purple, Starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, and Blue.
Apple removed this model’s physical SIM card compatibility. However, it supports Dual eSIMs. The iPhone 14 A2881 has several connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.3, 5G with 4×4 MIMO, Gigabit LTE with 4×4 MIMO, and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 2×2 MIMO. It also features a connection for satellite calls.
